How to Take a Panoramic Photo Using an iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S

I used an iPhone 5, but this feature is also available on the 4S after it's been updated with iOS 6.

Tap the Camera icon.

Tap "Options" .

 Tap "Panorama".



Hold the camera in the air.

Tap the camera icon per the following photo.


Slowly move the camera from the left to the right, keeping it at the same level.


When you're done, tap "Done".


 You can crop a panoramic photo using your normal photo software.  For example, this is an original version of a panoramic photo:

 After cropping, this is the new version of the same photo:

The panoramic feature also works going down to up.
This would be useful to photograph the Empire State Building or the Eiffel Tower!
